The Ann Storck Center is a is a nationally accredited, highly acclaimed non-profit human service organization.Ford received her licensed practical nurse diploma in 1990.

She is a basic life support instructor and certified phlebotomist.

Ford is a strong believer in giving to the community and donates to several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and local fire departments.
