"Kevin was a very loving father," described Paul.

"His biggest passion and pride was his children." Paul told News 11 Kevin was very active in his kids' lives from school to music to sports he was there.

Now that will be no more.

"Unfortunately Kevin's kids are relatively young.

That will be the biggest thing is that they will have to finish growing up without their father," said Paul.

He called Kevin quiet, accomplished, and loyal as he would make it a point to pay visits to Toledo family members.

"He moved away, but he didn't move away," Paul added.

"He lived to help others," said Paul.
