...Abdul Kalam on the last day of his state visit to Strasbourg and Greece visited the Hadzipaterion Rehabilitation Centre for Children with He spent almost an hour with the fifty children, speaking, shaking hands, patting little children on the head.

At one point the President recited a poem that he composed for the children.

"We are Gods children...when God is with us, nobody can be against us...we will win win and win." A mother standing near by listening to the President was visibly moved and had tears in her eyes.

The President donated ten computers to the institute.

Many of the children are from islands of Greece and the institute trains the mothers in computer usage.

Then through e-connectivity the mothers of the mentally and physically challenged children are able to seek assistance from doctors and therapists in Athens.
