"It's no good to your family to sit down and let everything run over you, you gotta keep pushing and praying." Shelley and Joel Page started the foundation 10 years ago motivated by their son Kyle."We've been there, we know how it feels just to see the support and love" Shelley says.Kyle has Spina Bifidia."When I was born I had a hole in my back" says Kyle.

The Page family struggled until someone lended a hand, now they're the ones reaching out to others.

"We have our own Katrinas right here and nobody knows it" Joel Page said.Sponsors Jauneze and Jimmy Gist have donated to the foundation for years.

"We've raised over thirty-five grand so far and it makes me feel great" Jauneze Gist says.The fishermen compete for a grand prize, but they're also grateful for the treasures they already have.Truckey Thompson says "You see the children who can't walk and I thank God for good health that I'm able to get out and do what I can."Mothers like Kim are thankful to the Kyle Page Foundation.

"It shows how much people care." Five other families also received $10,000.

The foundation as a whole raised $80,000.
