Wal-Mart Canada to Raise More Than $1.5 Million During 'Miracle ...

...Money raised year-round by Wal-Mart Canada and annually through the Wal-Mart Walk for Miracles will help fund critical hospital equipment, ambulatory-care services, research, education programs, and specialty services at children's hospitals across Canada.

"We've been a proud supporter of Canadian kids' hospitals for the past 13 years because we believe every young life that is saved or enhanced represents another investment in Canada's future," said Mario Pilozzi, President and CEO of Wal-Mart Canada.

"That is why we are pleased to support Children's Miracle Network, an organization that is committed to improving the future of our children." Since 1994, Wal-Mart Canada has raised and contributed more than $25 million for children's hospitals thanks to the generosity of store associates, customers and suppliers across the country.
