Student breaks out of shell with comic

...Soellner agreed to color the pencil drawings on his computer.

Daubenmire's Printing Company in Middletown will print the books, and MUM is helping with grant writing to fund the project.

Buckner said the goal is to show children with disabilities that anything is possible.

Buckner also has been working with the MUM business department to form an art gallery and studio in Hamilton where artists with disabilities can sell their work.

Nick's books eventually will be sold at the Symmes Road gallery, with proceeds benefitting various organizations and scholarship funds.

Nick's mother, Laura, said there are limitless possibilities for Nick, who now has the confidence and drive to see his project succeed.

Someday, she said, there may be toy figures of Super Botley or even video games.

For more information about the gallery on 3400 Symmes Road or purchasing the comic book, call (513) 867-5970.
