There were some political speeches and we were thanked for the work we were doing in the community. Our choir sang beautifully and was really enjoyed by everyone there at the community centre. There was a braai, singing, dancing lots of hugs for us in appreciation and very exuberant dancing which you couldn't help but join in. One young lad said to me āOne day Africa will have peaceā. I do hope he is right but I think there is a long way to go since Mandela fought so hard for equality with the white community.
